Violent monsoon rains have caused severe flooding in Pakistan, consequently leaving millions of people helpless. This treacherous situation has caused hundreds of fatalities,caused growth of waterborne diseases, and unavailability of basic needs. During this critical time, Alkhidmat has come forward to help all the people affected from flood and mass destruction. Alkhidmat Foundation is fully dedicated to lifesaving humanitarian assistance in flood affected areas across Pakistan.
Alkhidmat Foundation has been doing nonstop efforts to provide urgent assistance to the flood affected families simultaneously in Sindh, South Punjab and Balochistan. As of now, 50,720 volunteers are engaged and are working tirelessly for their countrymen and coming to the statistics, Alkhidmat has conducted 502 medical camps, delivered 47,934 tents and tarpaulins, and set up 17 Temporary Learning Centers(TLC) in flood affected areas. The Alkhidmat Foundation’s ongoing rescue and relief work is happening on a large scale and people from all around the world have been donating generously to the Alkhidmat flood relief fund.
In addition, 54, 500 people have successfully been rescued by using a total of 43 boats and vehicles. Furthermore, 203,520 patients have been given health assistance by the doctors and medical teams that are working along with Alkhidmat. Moreover, 697 relief trucks have been loaded and sent to the flood affected areas where volunteers have distributed ration bags and other basic things for their survival and well-being of affectees.
Alkhidmat has also planned to install solar filtration plants and construct rehabilitation centers with your donations. Alkhidmat is one of those organizations that have come forward to help, assist, and rescue the flood-stricken families—particularly vulnerable groups, persons with disabilities; women, girls and children. Alkhidmat Foundation is playing a leading role in providing lifesaving humanitarian assistance on the ground.
