Current Situation
The damage and destruction toll from weeks of torrential monsoon rains and flash flooding across Pakistan is mounting, as of now 1200 people have lost their lives, over 12,000are severely injured, 1.4 million plus houses are submerged in water, over 735,000 livestock have perished while countless displaced families, women, and children are living under the open sky.

Most Affected Regions
Floods have hit a total of 116 districts in all four provinces of Pakistan. The provinces of Balochistan, Sindh, and South Punjab are worst-hit by the deadly floods. Consequently, the lives of 35 million people including women and children are at high risk.
Our Response
From day one, our execution partner Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan disaster response teams are on the ground and are playing a leading role in doing rescue and relief work in flood-affected areas all across Pakistan. And have been rescuing people’s lives and livelihoods, providing relief assistance including cooked food, dry ration packs, tarpaulin sheets, medical aid, and other non-food essential items to the flood affectees.
